NBA Basketball Arena Review
- Pepsi Center
The Denver Nuggets have become one of the most well-liked teams in
the NBA in recent years. Whether it be because of the emergence of
Carmelo Anthony or the fact that the Nuggets have found a great deal
of success recently, the fact remains that an electric style of play
characterizes exactly what you will experience when you attend a
game at Pepsi Center. Its location in the heart of Denver makes it
the perfect outlet to see some great NBA basketball with friends and
family members.
If you are looking to come to the arena
located on Chopper Circle, there are many ways you can arrive at
your destination. With a great deal of free parking for all guests
located around the arena, driving your vehicle to Pepsi Center is a
legitimate option. 4,534 parking spaces are available in the various
parking lots surrounding Pepsi Center, and I-25 will bring you
directly to the arena whether you are coming from the north or
south. The Denver Metropolitan Area also has the Regional
Transportation District, which is the public bus system that can
take you both to and from Pepsi Center.

Once you are inside
the building, you will be greeted by over 19,000 Nuggets fans who
are eagerly anticipating the upcoming game action. The five-level
arena has giant LED boards located all across the arena including
the big scoreboard overhanging the basketball court, which is center
stage for great NBA action. If you are hungry before or during the
game, there are numerous concession stands located on the main
concourse for your convenience. If you are looking for more of a
sit-down type of atmosphere, Pepsi Center offers three restaurants
that have amazing culinary delights along with drink specials that
are sure to catch your attention. Blue Sky Grille is the restaurant
that is open to all guests of Pepsi Center, and it comfortably
serves up to 325 guests. If you are a suite holder or ADT Club Level
ticket holder, you have access to two other restaurants that offer a
full range of excellent food and beverage: The Denver Post Newsroom
and The Ridgeline.
Places to eat outside of the arena are
also aplenty, and offer great views of the city of Denver while you
are dining on your favorite courses. Some outstanding traditional
American fare can be found at Falling Rock Tap House. With its
offering of 75 beers along with some of the best cuts of meat you
will find anywhere, Falling Rock definitely offers you a dining
experience that you will not forget. Looking for less of a bar-type
atmosphere? Consider visiting Vesta Dipping Grill with its wide
range of different dishes that anyone will be able to enjoy. From
the Salsa Sampler to the smoked venison sausage salad, Vesta offers
a traditional dining experience with great food at reasonable
prices.
The Regal Watering Hole of Aspen is a great place to
go in Denver after you are done cheering the Nuggets to victory.
With great cocktails, good people, and a wide-open dance floor, the
Regal is the perfect location to go with friends for a great night
of socializing. On Lincoln St. in downtown Denver, there is another
interesting nightclub that can offer a great deal of entertainment
for a small price. The Church is open Thursday through Sunday nights
and is a popular hot spot for both Denver locals and those who are
just visiting the Denver area. A former place of worship that was
built in the mid-1800s, The Church now serves as a trendy nightspot
that many different people can enjoy.
There are more than
enough points of interest in the city of Denver to keep you occupied
while you are not watching a game at Pepsi Center. The Rocky
Mountains are the main attraction that bring people in from all over
the world to witness the beauty and majesty that one of the largest
mountain ranges in the world can offer. There are many tours along
with ample ski slopes so that you are able to take full advantage of
a great opportunity to see a truly phenomenal sight. You can also
visit the U.S. Mint in Denver, which offers general tours to the
public every Monday-Friday. This offers a glimpse at the process by
which all quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies are minted in the
United States. Finally, the Coors Brewery is also a great location
to visit while you are in Denver, as they offer free tours from
Thursday through Monday. This will provide you an inside look into
how your favorite beer is made from start to finish.
Denver
is a beautiful city with many great attractions, which includes
seeing the sensational Denver Nuggets basketball team playing home
games at Pepsi Center. Being one of the newest arenas in the NBA,
Pepsi Center offers fans a great experience from the moment they
step into the arena. With modern technologies that provide fun and
entertainment, Pepsi Center provides a breathtaking setting for
watching NBA superstars compete throughout the season.
